Ahhhh Damn I Drove A GSO480 Yesterday

Postby SkinnerBack » Mon Feb 01, 2016 9:03 am

Well my step dad just finished his GSO480 & took it out for the first time yesterday, well I got to drive it & all I can say is damn...... Them motors are very impressive!!!! I thought my spacer jug injected 540 had some ass until I drove that thing & I was couldn't believe the power!!! It may be back to the drawling boards for me & figure out how I can acquire one of them on my boat!!

8) Adding a supercharger and a gearbox can even make an old, tired
direct drive car motor act like it has some hair in the right places. :D

Dirtman & Kyle to be honest I don't know what all gets changed around and modified inside the charger. I didn't ask what all he does and he didn't say lol! All I know is the boost comes in sooner and makes more boost than from factory at 3400 rpm.

I'm pretty sure we burnt about the same fuel honestly, we can't be to far off but if anything he probably burnt a little more....... He burnt less than half a tank on 40 gals & I burnt a little over half a tank on 24 gals but to actually know the exact #s we would have to fill them back up again.......
