Covering poly bolts in a glass hull?

Post by CypressHunter »

I've been thinking about doing a complete overhull to my glass boat. I want poly. Only running steelflex now. The "BOSS" aka my wife does not want my to poly the bottom because does want my daughter or her wanting on bolts. I was trying to think of ways to cover the bolts. Either sea deck or some other form of padding. I even saw an old post on here were Twister buck riveted them. All input is appreciated

I would rivet them and you won't have leaks ,also the button is easy on the feet!
If you don't have time to do it right the first time ,
Where are you going to get the time to do it a second time?
