I originally had the Facet pump on the boat, but the fuel pressure was low. It fluctuated between 2.5 and 4.5. I took it off and installed a Carter and got 7.5, but that pump quit working Saturday afternoon and I had to put the Facet back on. I installed a fuel bulb and it will fire off when you pump it until you hear fuel squirt into the cylinders. But you have to do it every time. Im thinking about putting a fuel solenoid from a nitrous system on it. Connect a push button to the pump and the solenoid, and then a fuel line to the spider. Instant priming!

Just going off the specs, I suggest finding an electric pump that makes 20-30 PSI. The engine pump makes up to 32 at full throttle. 30 psi will definitely prime it. Plus, in the event your engine pump fails the electric serves as a back up.

I grew up thinking I-10 was the Mason Dixon line.
