New member from bayou country

Post by TC66 » Wed Jul 31, 2019 7:58 pm

I have found this forum quite informative and very short on drama. My question is Where are all the Louisiana and Texas boaters?
I have read pages of topics and replys but looking for people in my region.

Welcome to the forum. Few years back we did have a few active Texas guys on here.

Old "Crowhater" from Conroe that guy could blow up some engines now! Nothing was safe from his airboat to his Corvette over to the diesel truck and a big twin diesel sportfish if it had an engine "CROW" could exploit it's weak point. He could tell you what will break'. I recall he had some special company that would blend custom oil for him too that was neat. Always interesting conversation.

If my memory serves me he paired up with another Texas guy "MountainMotor" or similar who started to build for him and that seemed to quell the boom.

WAKE UP CROW!

Thanks folks!! I have my sights on a glass hull 13'6" with poly and a 0540av. Thank GOD I have an AC mechanic in the family!! Looking for an experienced boater on the Texas Louisiana border to help show me the ropes. Hate to get my hind end wet before I get my "feet wet".
