The only precision boxes I ever ran had to have the flex plate drilled to fit .. maybe I always had the wrong plates don't know but they were all drilled
Don't waste your time ... it is the only thing you can't get more of
.. if it accidentally looks like I gave advice please ignore it .. and notify me immediately

Post a pic... there should be a plate on the gearbox that bolts to the flexplate of the engine... At least that's how stinger and rotators work...

Yes you have to have the Flex Plate drilled. I just got through replacing ours due to worn down teeth from a bad starter drive. I used the old one as a guide template. I have had problems getting with Precrision myself. We just keep calling till he was at home, they do offer predrilled flex plates. We just choose to drill ours because we had another flex plate already.

My flex plate on my Precision box is drilled. Works fine. However I think if I was to mate one to a big HP motor I would reinforce the holes I drilled. IMO

Drill the flexplate and ride out....I met Vaughn at precision one time....He is a one man operation, and from what I can recall he is quite fond of hunting, so he very well could be up a tree as I type this....Very nice guy with a lot of knowledge...Pretty sure he said most of his boxes go on planes, but he does sell a lot to the airboat industry.....
