:rebel: :florida: My son and I are.Engine 350 Out of a Chri Craft rebuilding this Cottonmouth doing fiberglasswork to it, Rebuilding engine stand piece at a time. My question is I have a belt drive system with a differnt ratio on it After I install it will I have to rework my engine stand to lower the motor in the boat for the belt system and what Prop should I run. The drive system I was told is for a Big Block, But Bell housing and flywheel small and big are the same. IThanks Jason

I had not bought it yet went and looked at it and the guy said it was for a bbc but I looked and measured bolt pattern and it turns out it is for a small block ford engine. So now it is probably going to be direct drive for now.

They have an adapter for ford engines. Not that big a deal! U may have to change the back bracing on the rig a hair but would be easily done. Sbf are relatively cheap and easy to come by. 2.38 box and a 2 blade prop and u would prolly be surprised what an ole SBF will do.
