Turn Key is no stranger to the LS market. For over ten years they've spent countless hours in the dyno room fine tuning their various packages for truly low maintenance performance engine packages. Because of their relentless pursuit of perfection, the are among the industry leaders in the LS swap and off road/marine marketplace. They currently hand build 800+ engines a year out of their Southern California facility and support customers all over the world. From mild 400hp LS 5.3L iron block budget motors to wild 900+hp twin turbo or supercharged LSX motors, TKE is you're one stop shop!

Each motor comes truly turn key, from fuel system to air cleaner, starter to JW Wheel flexplate...it's all included. Each motor comes completely broken in, dyno tuned and ready to run. Their motors have been proven in the Baja 1000, Best in the Desert Series, Trophy Lite & SCORE Series, and the Dakar. The top 6 rock crawler in the nation are all running TKE motors. These motors are built to handle the abuse!

Every single motor shipped has a build sheet, Dyno sheet (so you know exactly what your motor is making!!), detailed installation manual and a 1-year unlimited hour warranty for recreation. Commercial warranty available as well. Typical lead time on an engine is 6 weeks or less from time of order.

WOW!! The wheels are turning in my head!! 500 HP LS3 is a small block and I can just replace my 350 SBC? Don't laugh at me because I'm lost when it comes to LS's. I've owned 3 Corvettes a 67 442 Olds and my last Vette was a 1978 and I didn't work on them, just drove them and picked up beautiful girls lol.

How much more is the holley system? Let's compare Apple's to Apple's....mefi sucks goat balls for tuning

Appreciate all the specs. on these engines, quite impressive.....really.... read through the post and couldn't find anything on TORQUE........at what RPM's does the 500 hp model need to achieve to reach its 500 Hp. rating.. and secondly what would be the torque ratings on said motor in the 3,000 - 5,000 rpm range....reworking a 15x8 Hamant , no powerplant decisions yet.... :dontknow:

The Holley option runs $700-800 more and that covers the mechanical throttle body, wide band O2 sensors and ECM upgrade.

I love the Hoey system but most would be plenty happy with the MEFI 5. The last 427 we sent out with the MEFI system made 620hp and 605tq...wouldn't have made anymore with Holley, but the Holley is definitely a little more user friendly for self-tuning and future mods like nitrous.

Here's a 440ci LS7 for our next build. Coil covers are not shown in the pic as they are not painted yet. Dyno sheet as well, 665hp and 605tq. Not too shabby for a small block screamer of a motor!

Except 99% of the people don't turn their motors 6500...more like 55-5800....good thing there is a warranty. Hope they run better than the gray supercharged one. LoL

The motor that you are looking at the dyno sheet posted is built for 55-5800.

You should hope your dyno sheet looks just like it. Try and match your cylinder head and chamshaft to mirror the dyno sheet posted. :)

Is the torque you want to mirror. JMO-

They are posting 665 horse at 6500.. it's not that at 5500

THEY ARE SHOWING MAX OUTPUT OF THE ENGINE. WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. IF IT DOESN'T INVOLVE YOU JUST CLICK A DIFFERENT POST NO NEED TO GIVE YOUR OPINION ABOUT EVERY POST YOU SEE.

Because I can. Just pointing out facts. If your gonna post something at least make it relevant. Hell by the time you upgrade to a holley hp ecu and buy headers you could buy a motor from Dave. Just pointing out facts...it's not like it's some smoking great deal.

Turn Key Engines are good people. They are building us an LS3 Stroker that should be 580 HP at 5200 and 580 ft lbs @ 3200. The specs were furnished by my customer and they were excited about doing the build. We will use a OX Box 2.09 to one and a 4 blade Maximus 82 inch Prop. We hope to run 30 miles per hour at 2200 rpm on the engine. It is going on a 14 ft new style Rivermaster with Kevlar layup. Can't wait to get the engine.

Here's a better one for you Tony...LS427 with a fat ol' torque curve. That's what we're really after though isn't it, after all HP is just merely a measure of the rate of torque production right?

As far as the LS7, well it's a tough SOB and in stock form held up to GM's 50hr WOT test and their 300hr peak TQ to peak HP test adjusting rpm in 125rpm increments start at 4800 up to 6300rpm. With a 7200rpm rev limit. 6600-6800 ain't a big deal. Titanium rods, valves, retainers and beefy lightweight springs help make that 7000rpm reliable. Not quite possible with factory L92/LS3 heads. Hell the LS7 heads flow 400cfm out the box...

You ask me, the 427 is the best bang for the buck...but I sure would like to rip an LS7 at 6600-6800 for 400'.

Look at the 5250 mark. Torque and HP is close to 600. That's the tell all rpm number. Impressive!!!!
