Expansion tank

Postby SHOOTER250 » Sun Jan 11, 2015 6:10 pm

Can I replace my coolant expansion tank up on the cage with a filler neck expansion tank mounted on intake manifold . It's a jegs product 5 1/2 inches tall with all the outlets needed.

15 diamondback 425 hp 454 factory set up

Trying to get a engine cover made,it would work much better if I could condense that plumbing.

Post a pic or link to part and that will help clarify. But most likely if boat runs cool now and you add a different expansion tank,as long as system can burp air out you will be ok.
