The Richard Childress Boat

Post by FAST EDDIE » Thu Jan 22, 2015 7:29 pm

We call my current project the Richard Childress boat. The reason behind that is it has an RCR engine. NASCAR engine pretty much sums it all up. With a 2.88:1 Ox Box and a 78 inch NGR. Does that say enough or do you need to hear more?

I had to do a little research, I don't know why RCR isn't building LS motors.

Do your research, rcr has been building LS motors for 3 or more years. It is now called ECR

How old is that motor? They have been sb2 for a while now. Or is that a lower series motor?

without knowing the engine output and a 2.88 i'm thinking he could use more prop. like 4 -82's or more.

That's a dry sump NASCAR motor, he is gonna need to turn it pretty hard.

The real fast Eddie has a big block on a 14' ride boat, get that beast done and line it up with him, the winner keeps the name :stirpot:
