Chevrolet Spark Engine

Post by zion » Sat Jan 23, 2016 1:31 am

I'm looking for the easiest and cheapest engine to get my mini running.
Snowmobile is reasonably priced but the redrive is a headache.
Why wont this work?

Looks like the Subaru EA may be a much better way to go.
Plenty to be found. Arrow prop has a reasonable redrive for $1200.
That will be simpler to get the engine redrive and propeller matched.
Any comments?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about these mini's but I have 3 rotax engines that came out of experimental helicopters and I would get a price together if you were interested in one. They are twin carb , 2cylinder, 70hp two stroke.

Missed this one but didnt want to go 700miles x2 to get it.
Also was skeptical. Wasnt sure if it would be enough HP per LBS.
I have plenty of time. I need it running by august.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

The subaru would be a good engine. More work though.
Thanks
