DD LQ4 6.0
About to build LQ4 for 13ft rivermaster. DD app, any input from anyone? How will it perform?

It will do better with a gearbox.
So tell us how you intend to use it. Where are you going to ride? Are you using polymer or slick bottom? What type of rigging? How many people are you going to carry? What type of prop? Carburetor or fuel injection? Where did you get the motor from? Are you doing any upgrades to the motor?

Flat top pistons, fuel injected, 1/4" polymer, 2 single in the rear double up front all stainless. Currently have 3/8 poly same set up with 350 dd runs great with 3 dry but gotta wiggle with 4. 72 whispertip

Running gulf coast nothin too bad, just couldnt find anything on here with 6.0 as DD. Built engine myself. Has zero hours on rebuild.

I'd let her eat and find out how well she runs.
Shouldn't be any worse than the 350 DD. I would use the truck intake manifold. Might also make sense to do a cam change to get a little more torque below 3,000 RPMs.

They are good engines. I'm happy with my stock one but I've got a gearbox to supplement it.

i had a 13.6 laser with a ls1 dd bowtie razor setup burn the hill np
