Fish,
The boat is lookin good, I'll be heading your way for some quality welding
Just one comment on the rudder mounts, maybe still in process, but the support bracket to the lower support cross bar doesn't look like it is doing much.

We run a 3rd diagonal to the bottom of the transom for rudder support.

It looks like you have a gusset underneath the tail. I would suggest your lower support bracket take full advantage of the gusset and run a support to the stern end of the lower gusset.

I still think I-10 is the Mason Dixon line.

I know it doesn’t look that stout but it’s pretty tough. No doubt more bracing would make it tougher. My Robicheaux is braced this way and it’s a commercial hull.

Made a box for my air filter to protect it from rain and UV. It will be open on the bottom.

Thanks Rick. Got the metal work 99% done. Blew it apart yesterday and finished welded everything but the cage. I think I’m going to add some temp bracing to try to keep the cage straight while I weld it out. Or just stick it back on the hull and climb on it like a spider monkey.

Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LTG SWAP
I have no experience with any of the sea deck type of surfaces. Any of you that have experience with them I’m interested in your opinions on durability, resistance to staining from mud and blood. I’m considering using some on the walking surfaces. Let me know which brand you are using in your post. Thanks.

Looks awesome Eddie !!!!!!!
We have used hydro-turf and had good luck with it, easy to work with. We haven't used sea deck so I can't really help you there.

Fish,
I have buddies with sea deck on hunt boats. The stuff sure is nice on the feet, you can wash blood and mud out of it without staining and it does make for a sharp looking boat.
That said, it does not washout/off nearly as easy as paint, wrap etc. and my dogs will tear up or s**t on anything. So I can't own nice stuff like that. Fly's gotta eat too.
