632 overheating at idle

Post by stickittoem »

Mas All aluminum fuel injected 632

What happened-was out gigging and was packing up ready to make the run back in and the temp was about 220. Shut off and it pissed coolant. Let it cool off for about 30 minutes then topped off with water. Made the 8 mile run back in with no issues. When I came off plane to idle to the dock the temp started to rise.

-replaced two thermostats
-replaces water pump
-made sure no air pockets in system
-check radiator flow

None of these procedures fixed the issue

Now resurfacing heads and new head gaskets.

Trying to figure out my next step if this doesn’t fix it. Please chime in if you have any input. TIA

How long have you had it?

What Pistons are in that engine ?

I assume your going to call Mike and try to get a replacement of the exact weight.
