Dave has a lot of that data. I lost years of weight data a couple years ago when I lost a hard drive in my computer (Note to other dummies like me who don't back up their stuff). So currently I'm having to re-log engines as I weigh em.

Today's weigh-in was a 502/502 complete from carb to pan. Oil, distributor. heavy JW Wheel, cast iron water pump, steel pulleys and motor mounts. All that was missing is the starter and distributor. It weighed exactly 590#s without redrive..

Cool we need to get together and try my digital scale, For my own personal reasons I want all my engine weight data to be from one common scale! Let me know when my intake is done and I will bring my scale bye!

a year ago we cnc machined a block for our boss's stock car the long block weighted
330lbs

we machined all of the water jackets to a thickness of .150 took out any extra webbing (like between the bolt holes for the bell housing) around the timing cover mounts cut out valleys over the cam
basically the grand work over its still running but who knows when it will let go
