CCAA Tribute/benefit Ride for Chuck Rackley

Post by 450HPFullHouse » Sun Jan 04, 2015 8:22 pm

Ride is going to take place January 17th. We are going to have our monthly meeting that day at the swimming hole. Club is going to provide charcoal and condiments so bring anything you want to cook for lunch. Would love to see everyone out for a Ride to show our support for a man that has done so much for Airboating. Meeting will be a 1:00 and ride will be after the meeting.

Yes Chuck, Spoke with him this morning after reading first post, he has a very positive attitude, hopefully he can beat it. He really wants someone to step up and have him build a boat with that new twin turbo Eco motor. Maybe it's on his bucket list? We all have one! So, someone with the desire to have a baaaad boat...come on and help him and all of us see just what the future of airboats is to be.

After hearing of this post this morning, I was lost for words.
I do know that with the help of the VA, we are winning this battle. Last week my pain started going away and my Chemo doctor said it must be killing the cancer. Last Saturday night I went into pulmonary arrest and had to be taken to LRMC on oxygen. I had Pheumonia. In three days they had me cleared up and breathing better than I have in years. I also don't smoke anymore. I am doing great now and think I will be around for a number of years.
Thank you CCAA for caring. Please don't hold a benefit ride for me at this time.

Thank you, Chuck

Chuck , it ain't a memorial ride , we ain't planning on losing you. It's just something the CCAA wants to do to help with medical exspense and etc. Just something the airboat community can give back to you for all you have gave it.
