God gave us the perfect day to visit with and honor Chuck!
Team CCAA recognized Chuck for his innovative ideas, dedication to the airboat community and generosity. Stories were shared about his exploits back during the Hoffman era and having hauled the Circuit Court Judge with Court Reporters out for a hearing in the swamp. This "see for yourself judge" approach, helped lead to airboats gaining access and having the recreational use area we have today.
Think it was Jeff who brought out the guitar and entertained us for a bit too!

I want to thank the CCAA members for the tribute/benefit they put on for me today. I also want to thank all the airboaters that showed up and paid their respects. Thank you all for your contributions. Some of the airboaters I haven't seen in years. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the ride. Jeff played me some old songs before most arrived. The food was great and it was good to be around people that are a class act. You are the best.

Didn't get to make it , but heard it was a great day. Beautiful day with a good turnout, saw some pictures that Fullhouse took. The airboat community always seems to pull together when needed.

A picture someone took.

It was a beautiful day once we thawed out from crossing the lake, and I'm happy we had a great turn-out in support of Chuck.
We had a good time!
