With a sad heart I am posting that one of the founding fathers of the AAOF, former President and long time treasurer and the epitome of the meaning true gladesman has passed away, he will be sorely missed by all, RIP Mr. Potter :salute: :old_glory: :florida:

Truly sad news. Been a icon at airboat club since I was a kid. Thank you for the news, even though it’s sad.

RIP MR Potter , one of the first folks who welcomed me to the AAOF. Prayers for his family both blood relations and extended he will be missed. :florida: :proud:

Mr Potter was a gentle giant. Always kind, polite and had stories to tell if you just hung around a while patiently and was willing to listen to them unfold. Always stuck out his hand for a cordial greeting and would tell me occasionally...."you're getting fat after retirement", and laugh. Gonna miss his wisdom and we'll-rooted perspective on issues concerning Gladesman and life in general.
Gonna miss Mr Potter.
