Here's the video, one, two, and three people on board running the pasture. This is the Mini Pro 105 with a 40hp Kohler engine.

Yea its running dry. But a boat that small where I hunt would end up at the bottom of the bayou really fast!!! Way to small and the sides are really shallow. I plan on getting my sides a little deeper due to the fact we run a lot of deep water. Something that small would scare me since we hunt practically in the Gulf.

Hey br, the sides on the 105 are shallow, Thats why we make the 116 with high sides and we will show it running dry in a week or two.
We tested the 105 in deep water but not in wakes. Oh, this boat ran 41 MPH in deep water the day after we made the ground video.
Thanks, Chuck

Thanks Chuck, I am not trying to be offensive to your product at all. I think you and others are doing great for the sport of mini boats. I have to admit I am very excited to see this side of airboats come alive. I have been intrested in a v-twin boat since it all began with he introduction of the big block briggs and the start of Mosquito Airboats years ago. I enjoy seeing these boats do what everyone used to say the big boys could only do. I can only expect more since there are rumors of Kohler adding fuel injection to the large blocks.

Chuck, if you can get an elephant to run dry you will silence the skeptics. 3 guys on a boat that size, motoring along is very impressive. I wish I had some extra cash laying around. Nice work there!

Thanks Guys, On our last test for this boat, Ronnie weights 225 lbs and he ran 48 MPH today.
The fine tuned 40 HP Kohler with the 3 Blade IVO was very impressive. We just might hit 50
before we build our speed mini. Thanks, Chuck

Excellent!
If I had nickle for every time I've heard (ok, seen) somebody on this forum talkin about wanting a mini that can run dry with two people I could just about afford to buy one of 'em myself.

Time to pony up and get you some of this one!

... By the way, anybody catch what the driver say about how it handled hitting that poop? Cause I'm darn sure somebody is gonna come back later and say they're waiting on the mini that can handle the poop... with two people.

No more waiting now. This is the one!

I think it was a little sticky, I heard that line when I was editing some of the sound out and had to leave that one.

Congrats on running Dry Chuck!! Very impressive!!! I've heard several people talking about it here in South Louisiana. They all can't wait to see it here and neither can I.

I know this is a very old thread but I have some questions. Is that a stock 40 with redrive or a modified 40? And could you tell me the approximate weight of the set up. Thank you

It is a stock 40. We moved the air filter away from the light air the front of the prop makes and drilled the main well air jets. The complete boat weights in at 500 lbs. I sold this boat to a Sheik in Morocco. A real fun boat but it didn't catch on. Only sold 2. Watch the water test posted on youtube by evildave.
Thanks, Chuck

I appreciate the response. I thought it performed quite well. I am planning on starting a project soon and hope it performs half as well as that boat.

You can order a hand laid hull from Marty Bray. 386-590-3859. It is 10 foot long and 6 foot 6 inches wide. It is by far the best mini hull made. He lives in Live Oak Florida. ( the bottom of the hull is the single most important part of any boat.)
Thanks, Chuck
