I don't know, Northwest. My ultralight motor makes 24 hp, but it's a 2 stroke.
Does that mean I'll have a weed eater ? :?

Off the subject a little ...... all this interest in the little boats is fun, and I'm convinced that some of them can be made to run pretty fast. What about a 'mini' class at the Broward show next year ? There might need to be some rules for them, like what you and I discussed last week. What constitutes a Mini airboat ?

Don't know Olf is it a two blade or three ? Two blade I'd call it a counter but three i don't know what the hell you'd call that one. :)

it is very evident that those props installed on lawnmowers are very quiet and i think are designed to really "cut" thru!

heck, they even have leading edges to take on stones on direct impact --- very durable!

Hey ya'll,

Coming soon to a store near you!
I'm an air-conditioning tech my whole life....I'm thinking new technology here now  No belt, no gear...

Forced air propelled with weedwacker string slingin' down underneath so ya' can cut the grass, drink beer, and airboat all at the same time :D

Just gotta figure out how much extension cord to make it from here to the ridge  Mr. Edison will be proud of us all, the best news hardly no airboat sound!

Five years later, the debate continues...

Lawn mower vs. rice rocket vs. snomo...

Light aluminum vs. fiberglass vs. foam core...

Well, it's like cntry says, "It's a mini if you want to call it a mini".
