It's good stuff ..... works on most anything like chicken, beans, pork. Try some.

Ok.. so what you're saying is that this Everglades Seasoning DOES exist.... not just one of those deep south sayings thats made to mess with Painterchic's from NY's minds??? I'll have to check the next time I'm in the big city of Cortland and see if I can find it... I guarantee that my little bitty general store type grocery store in my home town doesn't have it.. we're lucky they have salt and pepper!

OK... looked at the website, looks like my only shot at finding it up here is Wal-mart or Sam's Club, we don't have any of the other stores listed in the northeast. Bummer... :( It sounds interesting!

I sure hope so, you guys really have me wondering about it now!..... So... say I have some of this seasoning... do you just sprinkle it on everything before you cook it? Make a marinade with it??? Use it as a rub.... (for what ever purpose it may serve  )? Does it take away aches and pains???

I've been told you can rub it on insect bites to make the sting or itch go away.

hey swampcirtter,

I thought you were going to make it to the ride....if so I did not get a chance to meet you.

It was everything you could expect and more. Just the smiles on Bud and Nancys face made it evident a great thing was done.

If you like, call me if you still want to take a chance on Roacoe P. He is currently roaming the neighborhood, should be back soon.

There are some recipes on the website, but the box will have instructions and directions on it. It is just like any other dry seasoning in manner of use. It is just more potent than your regular street drug...huh...I mean seasoning. It is an all in one seasoning. Everything put the kitchen sink.

I will be calling you in about an hour or so. You gonna be home?

I couldn't make it to the ride. That would have been way too much on me. I know I missed a once in a life time event, but my brain overruled my heart this time.

Painterchic...dab a little Monkey Dust (Everglades Seasoning) behind your ears then stroll Wall-nuts. You'll have all kind of guys following you home. Not to good on W & W's. Olf Art...works good on rattle snake, don't know about python. Swampcritter, I use it in my swamp cabbage, & collards. Only two things tastes as good as Everglades, and I eat both of'em.

I think Dudley likes to put a big pinch of it (Everglades Seasoning) between his cheek and gum sometimes.

Huntnfish87! Where have YOU been??? I think you need to ask BigDaddy about how yankee girls cook grits!!!

So what Cowboy is saying is that Dudley has that teary eyed look for a reason huh?? And I just thought he was happy to see me when I got down there.... so much for that thought...

Cherpa I need to find the seasoning first!... then I'll worry about the placement of it.... I really don't think I'm gonna have to worry about too many strays following me home, even WITH a little dab behind my ears...
