No what you mean. I once drove with my trailer from WPB to damn near Naples to buy a jam up hull. Got there and it turned out to be a forty year old aluminum POS that had a radial mounted on it at one time! Everyone's a used car salesman!

One mans junk is another mans treasure, and appearently One mans treasure is another mans junk. I have gotten the best deals on stuff during these economic hard times, only want some more money to take advantage of some more good deals!

I think that this is one of the best threads in a while. I just recently made a deal with a guy of this site to trade boats strait up. Well we meet up and turns out the guy was trying to trade me a boat that wasnt even in the pictures that he sent me. Wasnt even close. People are just crazy. If your going to try to pull something over someones eyes... Atleast send some pictures that are close!

I have run all over the state looking at stuff for my boat, the latest was a freshly rebuilt and upgraded carb about an hour north of Gainesville, 500 holley 2 barrel. I get there and its a motorcraft, oxidized to he!! and the whole d@mn thing is siezed up. It was posted in the local paper, when I called the individual he wanted me to paypal him the 250.00 and he would ship it to me. Living close enough to his area I decided to se it first hand. Im glad I left with my money and no carb.You have to be carefull when buying anything, what happened to trust and a mans good word.

Yeah same here been lookin couple weeks for a turn key boat done spent bout 200 in fuel lakeland,plant city twice & all junk,& the prices I cnt believe people damn sure proud of junk lol

I drove to St Cloud to buy my boat, 16x8 DB the man held it for me till I could get there.Got a great deal on a great boat. Still are a few good people out there, just not many.

I bought my hull from a member on here, down around Ft. Lauderdale, out in the country,,, Talked to

him for 2 months before I could get down there,,, He sent pics,,, Got there and he wasnt there, (he

lived somewhere else) I liked the hull, called him and we decided on a hiding place for me to leave the

cash,,, Loaded the hull and we were on our way back to Jaw Ja,,, It wasnt long before my title had

arrived,,,

I was going to only point out that this thread is well over three years old.
But now I'll say Thank-you to Cowboy for getting a plug in for the good guys.

It's my nature to trust somebody until they give me a reason not to, but anymore
when you're talking more than three digits that is simply not a realistic approach.
