Post by Birddog247 » Fri Feb 12, 2010 5:21 pm

currently have 6 blade warpdrive on a 12ft glass hull. Pushes ok but needs to be redone it is beat up! would not mined to try a diffrent prop instead of wasting time on this one. Just wondering which prop is best for the 220 on 12ft glass.

I had a 13'6 laser with a 220 and heavy rigging. I had a 68" 6 blade warp drive. I went to a 72" sensenich Q. My boat would run some dry. I put the Q on there and it was night and day. I had about the same top speed but the Q has way more push on the bottom end. I was told I should have went with a 70" so I could put more pitch in it to lower my cruise rpm.

I had the 72 and the 70 inch whirl wind and loved them both on my 220. I had a 6 blade on it before that, when I swapped to the whirl wind it was like a brand new boat.
