Anybody ever tried mixing any additives such as graphite,teflon etc. to the product,& if so any good result I been told the 2000 has teflon I have a gal of the older steelflex 9xn & was curiuos bout additives,the 9xn I got for bout half the price verses the 2000 superslick!

you might worry about it loosing its adheasive qualities. great idea though.

TRY IT! ITS NOT GOING TO STAY ON THE BOAT PERMENATLY ANYWAY. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE? SO IT DOESNT LAST QUITEE AS LONG, BIG DEAL.

All I know is hope its better then the polyester crap that is on it now,had this hull bout 6 mths the stuff was brand new & everytime I ride I got to fix spots & its not wearin thru its just flakin & chippin off,i believe it was poor prep,done my reasearch & talked to alot of people & got 900 diff opinions lol,always been a poly guy just cnt afford poly right now figured I would give this a shot!

I know a guy says they used steelflex yrs ago on dump truck beds & said that was some tough shit so im gonna apply this week after I grind all this other crap off

Glen at Westside Airboats added graphite to mine.....a little breeze and she slide off the trailer !!

Cool the stuff on my boat now has graphite in it was wonderin if it would effect the cure or etc in steelflex!
