Moving things around won't do squat drive any boat that runs good by yourself then add 2-3 people guess what it still runs good your problem is from the transom forward about a foot maybe a hair more a square and a straight edge will tell the tale

Just put a flat edge under it. There is about a sixteenth inch bubble down about a foot from transom. Very slightly pushed down

is it possible that under power the motor stand is pulling the bottom of the boat up slightly at the back legs of the motor stand? have seen this happen testing an aluminum boat on the trailer. had we not been testing on the trailer we never would have known. just throwing that out there for something to look for.

Yea I did think about that and checked on trailer and while running and I can't see any flex at engine mounts. They are solid mounted w angle from transom to about 3ft foreward at front bars. In theory though if it was pulling the rear of hull up wouldn't that make the water push the front down kinda like a trim tab.

no it would make it run like it has a hook in it. if the bottom flexes in any way it can change the characteristics of how the boat runs and handles and cause you to pull your hair out trying to tune it. not saying there is anything wrong with your hull just trying to give you ideas.

A square will tell the tale inside the boat from the transom to the center runner and make the braces longer especiallybthe center or maybe tony480 will show you how its done

Could you post a picture of the front of your motor stand where it meets the hull and Tbar stringers

There is a picture I posted earlier where you can see the front of stand where it meets the stringer.

Flex at that point or in front of would be disforming the hull slightly just throwing that out there

personally from the pics i can see one huge flaw that not really fixable now but the angle the engine stand is on should run as far forward and as close to the bulk head as possible that caddy is a whale and if the bottom is thin itll definatly flex and cause some hop jmo hell i dont know squat

Yes I agree i am bracing it up to stop flex and looking at transom. As far as engine stand I couldn't go any farther foreward with the front legs. They are butted right up to center bulkhead. Thanks a lot for the advice.

Hey jimmy, it was good to meet you guys and you definitely have a nice boat! My boat will porpose also, sometimes worse than others depending on conditions. If conditions are right it will ride sweet. As far as moving wieght around might help some, but I don't think is the answer. Last weekend we went to geralds (as you know the water is deeep in 2a) and I had the boat loaded down with a big cooler that took 2 people to carry and set it on the bow. Then I had 6 - 5 gal buckets full of rock (3 on each side), and two people in the front seat and the boat still wanted to porposed a little in that deep a$$ water  I think helms got the solution for me with jacks to round out the bottom slightly as you get closer to the transom. Good luck Jimmy :thumbleft:

I have 12' by 8' Thurman with a caddy and can tell you that big torque motor will twist an flex a hull. That being said my boat did not hop at all when new, 35+ yrs old now. Back in the day it was just a half deck boat .100 bottom. Over the years of beating the crap out of it has taken its toll. The bottom is no longer flat an had to put a tab on it. The last time I steelflexed the bottom Gary told us to just add a extra 2" stripe of steelflex along the bottom at the rear edge an the boat ran perfect without the tab until the steelflex wore off. I know this is not a fix to your problem but just shows how little of a change made my boat run flat again. I will tell you that where your engine stand stops on the t- bars will be a spot where that caddy will deform the bottom when under power. Good luck.

It may be an optical dillusion but the front of that motor looks awfully high. Is it close to level with the bottom of the boat as a starting point?
