What is a good distance off the edge of the transom to the prop running 12 ft boat with a 180 thanks for the help

Mine is about 1.25 in clearance.

What I need is the distance from the edge of the transom to the prop not clearance height on a full deck

4-5 out /down both ways is std on dd jmo rule of thumb
