$2700 ish for a well equiped airboat trailer. You can find cheaper (Magic Tilt) but not apples for apples.

Chris Chardt @ Dakota Airboats in Melbourne has started a good trailer operation as well apparently. He's been turning out a bunch of trailers for folks and takes trade-ins. I think prices start at 13hundo according to facebook. There are plenty of good builders thru out Florida.

Yea but his aren't aluminum. C&D trailers are better than the rest by far! It's all in the the attention to detail and the little things you can't see in a pic

I build a pretty nice trailer and I will give you a pretty good price. Call me and see. 321-303-1394. My trailers are stronger than anyother I have seen. Compare my trailer has 5 1/2 ibeam for main frame and 5 inch Ibeam for cross members not channel (Ibeam is stronger). I use LED lights and Torsion axels. I aint that computer smart so I cant pste my photos in this thread but yall can see from my ads my trailers are nice. My price is $2000 for single axel and $2700 for tandem.

No doubt I beam is stronger then C channel AND it better be when your spanning over 4' between cross members  In order to do that you have to use a 5 1/2" main frame. To each there own but I like more cross members supporting the bottom of the boat as well as the load is more evenly distributed on the trailer.

Here is a pic of our tandem..
Image

Since I am computer savoy.. I'm gonna help Chad out.. Here is a pic of captain chads tandem..
Image

There you go guys.. Do you want 4 I beam cross members with 8 bolts holding them in there OR do you want 6 C channel cross members with 24 bolts holding them in there.. You decide..

WOW!!! I cant see the need for more than 8 bolts per beam but if you can get 24 in there well thats awesome. I think 8 per beam is enough. Im done. Dont like all this bashing.

"Imitation" I can live with.. It's a trailer, not sure what I could change that would allow it to haul a boat and not look like a trailer  However I would love to hear what makes mine "cheap"? Do you care to back that statement up with some facts??
