A general, non-powerplant specific, discussion on airboat technology, ie., hulls, rigging, polymer, etc..

Im trying to get in contact with someone or some place who can supply and install stainless steel on a few of our airboat hulls. Polymer is constantly getting ripped off and having to be replaced due to rocks. Boats are used in big cypress and the keys for exotic vegetation control. I cant really find anything online. anyone have info?
Idk bout that but how thick is the Polly u using? And go over kill on bolts. Mine has ran over everything imaginable an hasn't been tore off. Looks rough in spots but nothing loose at all
Where he is talking about is pinnacle rocks. They stick out of the ground like monuments and are ruff to the touch and laugh at poly. That is the reason for the full wrapped stainless on the bottom of the rock boats.
