Last time I was checking, GTO had 1/4 and 3/8 in stock to walk out with.

Don't think 1/16 of an inch difference would be noticeable AT ALL even if they did make it.. Just get the 1/4 inch.

Think about all the work to weight ratio of 1/4 inch to 3/8 good poly. Yes your pushing a few more pounds but floating a fragment higher. Pick a good poly because I just had one pull a screw like wax in the heat. Totally disgusted it pulled a good fit counter sink and had to counter sink two on each side of it.
It was a local brand too which is really bad for there rep to be gator tough.

We had a screw pull thru during install on 3/8 and it was a huge pain in the butt to remedy and reset. Kind of my fault I think was working to bend the edges and may have warmed it a little to much and then put the gorilla grip on it. I'd suggest not trying to radius curves with 3/8 if you use it. Opt to armor the flat pad and leave the rest to chance.

Swamp

I've contoured some wicked curves with heat and even relief cuts and double bolted 3/8. The new local stuff seems to need the old sidewalk bolts just to hold it down if its facing the sun with light upward stress to it. It even felt good drilling and counter sinking but a couple days in the sun it still pulled a screw. Maybe it's made for aluminum applications or fender washers?
