Power pole hydraulic 5/16 hose connector question

Postby MacGyver » Sun May 25, 2014 4:22 pm

Not sure how it happened but the one of the hoses blew off the bulkhead hose connection. It looks to be a pushin connector. I checked the hose diameter with my micrometers and it mic out at .315 OD . Is .315 hyd plastic hose a odd size maybe special to powerpole or can I get it local ?Part of the plastic fitting is missing. Can this be changed to brass connector ? Thanks for any advice . I cant find my manual either not sure what type of hyd oil I will need to top off the tank with either. Thanks for any help.

I am not familiar with powerpoles at all, but if it is hydraulic any truck place or hydraulic house can more than likely make you a new hose. Probably not until Tuesday though lol.

If its really funky, Amazon in Tampa can probably fix you up too. They have about everything if you need to replace a hose made from two different continents and manufacture from a third if your in a hurry?

Which piece are you talking about. I've installed a few power poles. I have some tubing
Lengths left over. None of the ones I've installed have had a plastic fitting. Only brass.

These are plastic fittings, I will chase down some brass fittings next week. Was just wondering if the 5/16 OD tube size was a odd size
