Question on torque roll ????

Post by Alpal »

When fitting out your AB is it best to make allowance for Torque roll ??? For example,..put fuel tank and battery to one side or slightly offset seating to counter Torque roll, thanks Aussie Allan...

Yes, I've seen race boats that have the driver sit on the opposite side of the torque roll to reduce it. Not necessarily found as common on ride boats I would think.

I put my battery on the opposite side and didn't notice much of a change on my previous boat but that was probably due in part to my whole body being on the side of the torque roll (side by side seating up top with operator on the left side with gearbox and big prop)
