Finally-I'm building my boat

Postby pipedog » Thu Jan 01, 2015 8:38 pm

Thanks to some good buddy's with boat building experience, pushed me to do it(didn't have to push much). With out there help I would be lost. It's going to be a 13'10" X 7'6" open Palm Beach 18" front to back with 12" walk boards. It should be a nice boat, build strong!
I can't wait to ride this one!!

runners temp held in place so they can be drilled. Once everything is drilled then you take it apart to counter sink the bottom for the rivets

Looks like you and your buddies are making some good progress on that new build. Are you gonna have it ready for howl at the moon this weekend? :bounce: :bounce:

You have a lot of work ahead of you but it will be well the effort. Looking good, way to go!

Thanks guys! The power plant will be some type of aluminum block LS with fuel injection-gearbox-3 blade. Going to look for a stock
motor from a wrecked car with fairly low miles, hopefully I can find something resonable :dontknow:

you clip the runners in from the bottom this time around so the clips don't pull thru or damage the counter sink
