Are jimmy white hulls still being made?

Post by iclassic »

I'm planning on slowly building a boat as soon as my flats boat sells and have heard nothing but good things about jimmy whites hulls, but I can't find any contact info on him besides some older posts on here, so I want to know if he's still building... P.s. I just don't want to waste someone's time callingif he is out of the business. Thanks

I ride one and love it. One of the best hulls I have owned and built the way I wanted.

Cool thanks for the quick replies, I called and left a message, I know there's not one flat price for a hull but what could I expect to pay around for a 13x7ish hull nothing fancy, ive never owned a boat myself but want to invest in a good hull and go from there, however I want to run most likely a 350 or 383 with belt drive so I am thinking a 13x7 or maybe x7'6 (I've read on here that a little wider is better for a beginner), and want to be able to run dry with two maybe three people..

I would go with his Marsh Master, it's right around 14' long and 8' wide at the back roughly and the sides are pretty deep. Great boats.

I've never owned one, but if it was a glass hull I wanted? I'd call him. JMO

Nobody mentioned on here builds a better hull than Jimmy. I wanted certain features on my hull I needed a really strong hull to go anywhere Jimmy built it and everyone who has rode in it so far has had nothing but compliments on how great my boat rides. I searched a lot of boat builders and none did the extra supporting I wanted Jimmy said no problem. The guy is one hard worker and it shows he knows what he is doing for dam sure. Yesterday I had to take my boat off the trailer I decided to inspect the bottom having Jimmy put 2 gallons of quick slick on the bottom it still looks new and it shows he put that stuff on the correct way. best hull I have owned. He has a lot of molds to choose from the wide ass Mash Master is pretty dam impressive everyone says they are great.

Well I'm still waiting on a call back, I've read he takes a few days to return phone calls and I'm not ready to order just yet so that's fine with me, I've been looking at big o hulls as well, but I'm gonna wait to talk to jimmy before I make a decision, what do you guys think though about a 13x7'6 with a 383 belt drive two seat not sure on prop yet and most likely aluminum rigging, Ive never owned a boat before so I want it to be a good learning boat but not a total slug in the water..

Ok I had complaints on 2 different posts for the same reason. I looked and the complaints were valid.

If someone asks you about buying a Timex watch don't tell them you like a different brand and add the brands contact info. That comes close to being under the advertising policy here. Steering the discussion off topic happens at times I know but I had valid complaints in the report on these two.

Update: Now 5 posts.

Lets stay ON TOPIC ok? :)

Is this his cell? I tried to text this number and it was denied so I called and left a message and haven't heard back from him yet. This was Thursday. I'm looking for the T-rail for a square nose.
