Postby mormon » Wed Jul 29, 2015 10:40 pm

How are you pitching your prop? Eyeballing it using pitch reference stickers on the blade? Digital angle finder? Warp drive protractor? Tracking the trailing edge at a given point? Lots of things to consider even outside of prop pitch that can cause vibration...adding a prop just amplifies it

It shouldnt be like that at an idle i can see at a high rpm but when it goes over 1000 rpm it clears up so it aint the prop

I get little vibration on mine too. What is the best way to check the pitch angle on the prop? I have a cheap husky digital level from Home Depot. Is there a better way?

agree just like Blackwater says on the R use both digital angle and tracking pointer, call Sensenich and talk to Darrin he will walk you thru it, I set with digital angle first and then check with tracking pointer

Be sure to have the serial numbers on the blades. I was once sent a non matching blade. When I talked to the manufacturer they knew immediately what was wrong by the serial numbers.

if you have a iphone or any type of smart phone you can get a free app for a digital level. just slap your phone against the prop.

has worked for me several times.

unless i get man and smash it, i always have my phone on me. lol
