Trying to find out where the oil pressure relief valve or regulator would be on a 220 block 470 conversion

If looking at prop from back, its right under left side of block, youll see a plug head, unscrew it and a spring with a ball bearing sitting on top of it, dont drop them

You might try pulling your oil sender and putting in a mechanical gauge to be sure you have lost pressure. If you have try re-priming the oil pump by forcing 50 weight A/C oil backwards into the oil sender hole. I used a 1/8 pipe with a 1/4 barb... A short piece of fuel line and an old style oil can with a pump. I soul put 2 cycle oil in your gas till you know if you have oil pressure

Good luck

Thanks everyone for the ideas come to find out the oil pump did loose its prime . I guess they say its pretty common for these motors to do this.
