Have a good trip Mitch and be safe. Too hot for me this time of the year to do the coast normally. They are tearing the trout up right now though.

Summer on the coast. Sleep in a nice AC dark room. Up at 4 or so and put on SPF long pants and shirt, and cap with neck flaps. Step outside of hotel room or RV, glasses fog instantly. Get sticky feeling. Before ever getting bait or boat launched half sweated through....

Nope.. not really my style. I sweat more than most, and I don't like it in my eyes, face etc.... right now I've cut about 100 cedar trees down in the woods and I'm soaked and covered with saw dust... thats life....

I don't want to feel like that trying to "relax"

Honestly though, If I get time to replace my fuel tank on the bay boat ever, we'll fish from daylight a couple of hours too, out on the wells with live bait and then filet and retire to AC the rest of the day.

One day though, might have to make a summer trip with ya! Just to see how others do it.

Jeff

Mitch, you should never have posted your where abouts for the weekend like that, the CRYACKERS will be on you in full force. They are all out there checking the "nervous fish syndrome" this time of year. LMAO!

Well I would just park and look for the one with the most / largest fish and then offer him/her a ride in a airboat and then let them count the fish as we rode around so we both could catch a few later. This way I could find out what they were thinking and give them a first hand look. Thats the only way for us and them to learn .

Might just do that if one wants a ride. :usa: Mitch

according to some kayakers counting fish is both herding and spooking the fish and ruining life as we know it for fishing.....

Good luck. Last reports I heard from Rockport down to baffin are limits of trout are pretty easy right now. A few reds and a flounder or two tossed in for good measure.
