Putting duck blinds out in the coast.. i have questions abou
Does anyone knows the laws regarding putting a blind up on the Tx coast....? I see them all the time but its not private property its public.... I was wondering what if i put out a blind on the coast only to return to have someone hunting out of it..... whats the law on that since the land is public?

You build it, they will come. It's first come first serve on public waters like that. Doesn't matter if you built it. Legally anyone can hunt it.

Yes they are public property BUT..........common courtesy applies in most places. It's always been my understanding you just wait a little longer to set-up if you hunt somone elses blind. Wasn't that many years ago that blinds were burned to the ground (only takes a duralog) and tires slashed at the ramp. Most of the blinds from Corpus to POC are controlled by certain groups. Its a good idea to know who's is who's IMOP.
Its a lot easier to just sit in the grass and cover up. Neo-tubs and finishers are deadly compared to blinds.

contact tpw they used to sell permits for private blinds you just put the permit number in the blind then the GW can call and see who owens the blind. Im not sure if they still do this .But it will not hurt to check it out.
