Sounds like they got real lucky , evacuated but only got grass and a out bldg , garden..
Fire all around em , man that has to be spooky.

Hope we can get some rain soon . I am Glad that they are ok and the rest of the folks on the river .Our thoughts and Prayers go out to the ones who lost their stuff and to all who helped out .

tHE OWNER HAD PUT ALL HIS SAFARI MOUNTS IN THE RESTAURANT ON THE

Sounds like it turned out ok I hope! Too damn scary the fires that week!

Marshrider, the fire burned up 580 acres. and Some homes, but they were able to save some homes too.
the restaurant was just fine. the fire did the most damage on hill county side, which is oposite from the
river as the restaurant is on. But nobody was hurt to bad that i know of.
