Well I ran in to Hasbeen at ECAR&WR
He has removed the ice chest with the
Roster Rockets (boiled of corse) Ham , roast
And Tuna sandwichs 2cases of water for
And other liquid drinks for the folks he
Runs across on the river one bag of firewood
Xtra- parts for the boat ,tools ,cast net ,
Mason jar bait traps and other River Folk
Stuff . Just letting you all know that Hasbeen
Who I am proud to call my friend and has
Bailed me out . Is still working on running
Those steep grade hills . This is just a quick up
Date on things .

Ric,
You made me do a "full belly chuckle" I had forgotten all about this ole "Politically uncorrect" thread :dontknow:

I still have plenty boiled peanuts, and have put all my River Folk "stuff" back in my boat in preparation for a good
spring and summer on the river.

Brotherbob`s rocks are still kickin my butt, :banghead: ..........but I can run the "slick" gravel around Butch`s place o.k.

I`ll get the prop combination figured out pretty soon.

Thanks for the laugh :salute:

Just think of all the exercise walking to the top of the hill these guys are missing out on. Not to mention the exercise you get going to get another beer. Let them be jealous of that.

Tell him N8241! :toothy7: The man has a cooler you can carry a dead body in and has a pony engine just to move it around!

He dont carry a GPS or MAPs just some carvings on stone!

I'm not sure why he carries Tee posts and a driver for either?

Heck you ought to see the Thomas the Tank Engine toy he carries in the boat for the Grandson to play with......I bet its 500 lbs!

A whole lot of that is just plain old W R O N G .....

someone said...." It`s lonely at the top....but it sure is crowded at the bottom".....it cuz we ain`t all got the horsepower to get to the top.....

Image

It`s like my white boat......kinda......when it don`t run real good....it needs to at least look good ! and it only weighs 500 hunerd pounds if it`s full of fuel.

T post and drivers are to keep from getting blown off the gravel bar by the "Real" airboats when they leave....and I don`t need a gps in order to "F O L L O W" my BRAB folks....I`m ridin drag.....therefore the cooler is for emergency first aid, hydration, and morale, for any recovered airboaters/tubers/kayakers.

I`m just proud to be able to take all the abuse..... :violent1:

Of the hill .
But I must say when you see the toy train on the front of

What you are looking at.

Well, after going over to Kerrys' place and seeing his GTO... I went to Florida last weekend and bought a GTO hull from his buddy... lots of work to do, need to adapt the 500 HP LS from Water Thunder onto the stand... all electrical, plumbing, etc. Probably a month before it gets wet.... but I dang sure hope it can climb the hill with you fellas... don't want to be on one side of that cooler lugging it up by hand....

I appreciate that Ric, I usually have family or kids riding with me that really have no idea how an airboat should run or handle..... :dontknow: so all I really know is that it goes up and down the river, and gets me back.
It`s been a good boat but I`m anxious to finish my new boat so I can graduate kindergarten.
Get your poly patch finished so I can follow your "Big A$$" rig as soon as I finish it (a week or so)

That's a Heavy Boat not a big boat-- I have with a Hasbeen Mtr
Set up 16 x 8 skinny front : )
You know me it will get done some day and I am there when
I get there . Just take time and relax when I can
Relax with the BRAB & RRAB
By the way you still need to take Red's boat for a spin.
Later BRAB 45
Looking foward to chasing that new ride of yours .

:!:  Note : RRAB does not
Stand For Red River AirBoat Company
In the context that I used it..
It stands for a group of very nice folks
That enjoy the water ways and just happen
To run the Red River From Time To Time some of them
Are even close to the Texas Coast
And in No Way are building any airboats...
Man how quick a post can be taken wrong.
This is Because I got a couple of e-mails.
I posted this reply .
Not trying to hijack your thread Hasbeen
Also the Dirt Road Sport is a Panther if anyone
Wants to know ! And a nice one at that.

If you are Having a good Time Who Cares if ur boat wont run the Hill. I have parked on the Lake edge plenty of time and enjoyed myself. My Friends and I have pushed on one of my old Boats in the past from the Road Crossing in the Marsh to the Hole in The Wall. We had a Dang good time doing and Laughed the whole time. If You are having a Good time with friends and family who cares what others say. Enjoy life we are only here for a short time. JMO.

Kerry, when a man finally decides that he don't need to carry a spare tire for his trailer, two big full Igloo's just in case he
gets lost somewhere, the better part of a machine shop in the bow locker just in case something breaks, and two cases
of water, he'll get a better runnin' boat every time! I've never seen his boat up close, but when this thread started I figured
it was somethin like that because I've seen too many of those ol' DD Buicks do a fine job.
