Rides Anytime Soon?

Hey Guys..

Pretty new to Airboating, but been a Texas boy all my life.. Are there any rides planned anytime soon? Trying to get connected with some other airboat owners..

Home base is Angleton, little south of Houston.

I'm in Dickinson. Got my airboat apart right now, painting, new cage, rebuilding engine and new bottom coat. But as soon as she is ready I would like to do a ride. Let me know when you plan on going sometime.
Also, let me know if you find a good ride place around here. I usually just use the airboat during duck season and she sits the rest of the year.

Wallisville is a hoot... Plenty of marsh out there.. Also lots of territory west of Galveston Island down through Matagorda.. Lots of shallow water but it's WMA so can't run over emergent or submergent vegetation..

Wallisville is pretty open, not WMA, just got respect folks property and feeders.

I'm about 2 months out on a new build from DB but, the split between teal and big duck season may work for me. Wallisville is cool but I live in San Antonio so it would have to be a Saturday.

There is normally a few folks that will gather together in Sept. during the Gatorfest weekend to ride around Anahuac/Wallisville area. I thought I knew most everyone close to me with a boat, but it looks like there are a few new folks I need to meet.

I don't have much time to play these days, but I hope to get to meet y'all soon.

Anyone from further down south west towards Corpus? I understand there's lots of water down there and would love to follow someone around for a day and maybe pick up some reds!

There are several guys down in Rockport that know the back lakes of the Bass Island. I'm not that familiar with the area between Sea Drift and Rockport. Corpus is just so so.

Yeah the Rockport Area is my prime interest.. It's just far enough west to see some blue water!
