Nice Airboat at the Auction
Anyone looking for an airboat right now should check out ggauctions.com. Click on the online auction tag and go under Lake County Sheriffs Office. Then click on Airboat.
What you should find is a 2004 DB 3/4 deckover, Stainless steal riggin, 220 gpu boat with a water walker prop. It also has an aluminum Magic tilt trailor under it. Current bid is $5850. This boat seems to run good. Might be a good deal for someone in the market. The boys that run it said it would run the hill ok with three men on it. They have a 0540 boat that they use more often and didn't have the need for two airboats. It was professionally maintained by the S.O. A/C mech.

Price is still holding at $5850. Should check it out. JMO
I've seen it in person. It's worth a lot more than that.

I thought so too. I spoke to Little John, He said it is a JW riggin. It is a very nice boat. I've seen it and heard it run. Think it should go somewhere around $7,000 at auction. Boat is worth at least $10,000 if you ask me.

Re: Nice Airboat at the Auction
Interesting bid history. The guy that bought at the end was one of the initial bidders, then he didint bid again till the last half hour of the auction that was advertised at ending at 7pm but continued till 7:37. There was a primary bidder that was immediately bidding and staying on top of the list until the very end, with numerour bids. I guess it extended past 7 because they had a rule posted that bidding was active until 5 minutes after the prevous bid. Looks like the 2nd place guy made a bid at 7:30 then it sat until 7:37 before the winner made the winning bid. According to the rules the bidding should have ended at 7:35. Hard to figure out what happened there, I would think the 2ed place guy could challange that he was the right ful winner. Maybe the ******** was using a different set of clocks. Bud

15x8 Alumatech hull, with enclosed cab, aluminum cage, LS 3, 6.2 aluminum block ffi, 2.7 Balistic Box, sensinich superwide 3 blade. Built for year around riding in Alaska
