i have a 12 foot scorpion with a 0360 on it , it has a 6 inch transom , its 7'5 wide and i was wounderning if i could put a straight valve 540 and get it to float that weight ?

theres been on for sale on here for awhile with an upstack 540..... i new a guy who had a 550 cont . on one so i would say yes!

what is the weight diff in a 360 widedeck vs a straight valve small journal 540 ?
i have only about two or three inches of free board when im sitting

I have a 6-1/2 transom 7'8 wide Hancock with a 220 gpu and floats just above the deck with no poly. Take a picture of the transom, I would like to see it.
