Sunk my boat late Sunday night on the Ocklawaha River. Many people worked hard to retrieve it, and I thank them. David Chastain worked with me all day Monday, Wesley , the entire Minton family, and Walt and Ray (Dirty White Boys), and couple of their friends, helped later in the day. Special thanks to Ray and Walt whos experience sped things up after they arrived. Im sure Ive left someone out, but I really apreciate all the help I got yesterday.

Just heard about your misfortune by the Minton family, also heard an airboater came by you seen you in trouble and went on about his business? Not good!

Since nobody mentioned it, i assume nobody was hurt, happy for that. hope you were able to get the boat running and back in action with minimum of damage. whats the story, how did it happen. i need a learning experience before i sink mine. Bud

Driver error. I slowed down and turned right when the headlight fell off my head. Backwash hit the side of the boat and pushed it over. Had another rider with me, and Im surely thankful there were no injuries. Skinned leg, a bunch a skeeter bites, and some hurt pride. I just hope not to make same mistake again.

I don't get that part at all , up here it's like the code . If you see someone in the bush whether it's a flat tire or stuck some place you stop and give any help you can . Next time it might be you that needs the help and it might be life or death .
That guy that left you hangin' should be ashamed of himself .
