On a serious note; Hamant Airboats donated the finances for the froging exspedition that harvested 11.5 pounds of legs for the veterans lunch here at Old Glory! :salute: :thumbleft: Many thanks to Wade and Elena for thier support for our veterans. :toothy7:
I exspect to have over 500 frogs (50 pounds) for the event. 8)

Water level seems to be holding for now. I would like to see it drop another 6" .

Boaters; now is the time to check wheel bearings, safety gear, lites, etc. :thumbleft: The only thing worster than setting on the side of the road with a wheel missing is a boat under water! Check you're drain plugs.
Gerald I think your right about your Hawk being a democrat, because my Dog is the same way, free everything. Speaking of free and the other subject! Do you need any Viagra? I have some and I don't need it, so if you want it let me know.
Actually, I don't have a problem rolling out of bed at nite but I'll take them, may need them for those extera ladies that are left at camp!!!!!!!
I just thought of something Gerald, we may cause some guys some problems about getting away from their wife's if we keep talking about lose women being at the ride. Back in the early 80s our Bass Club had a weekend fishing tournament. A buddy of mine and I took our girlfriends, next meeting we got kicked out of the Club. I hope the wifes that read this know we are kidding!! we are aren't we???

Hey y'all, I have a serious question, nothing related to the event however. I need help in finding a decent job that I can just work 8,10,12 hrs a day. I am working 2 full time 8 hr jobs, 1 for the City of WPB from 11pm-7am and then I work for an electric company from 7:30am-3:30 pm. I get home about 4:30 spend some time with my kids about an hour, eat, take a shower and then try to get about 4hrs of sleep til its time to head back out. Now none of this would of happened if a so called person the head of the government would of fulfilled his promise to me! While at was recovering at Walter Reed Hospital for 18 months this person said oh don't worry I'll make sure you can get work with the Federal gov't, and you don't need any training no degree, that office you work with will train you and I am signing a bill into law stating that all Federal agencies will have to hire 25% or more of returning vet's from Iraq and Afghanistan, well it's been 3 years and nothing has happened. i even went as far as writing letters to the White House, all I get is some damn peice of paper they send everyone with different websites. I was brought up you didn't ask anyone for anything you went out and did it or got it on your own, well y'all I am about to lose it, like I said 4hrs a sleep a day that's 28hrs a week. I get to see my kid's about 10hrs a week if I'm lucky, hell I might as well be deployed again. In the military I built bridge, but in the civilian jobs no need for bridge builders like the ones we built and once again I don't have a damn 4 year degree, I also did radar operating but here we ago in the civilian world oh you need 8yrs in that field and a degree. In my civilian life I have done electrical and worked 10 yrs as a project manager building homes in Central Florida til the shit hit the fan in 2006. Most places say you need a degree or have some kind of multiple years in the field, well I am not an idiot, not like I can't learn, hell I didn't know how to soldier before I went in, in 1897, but hell my records show that I was a damn good soldier. All I know is 16 hrs a day, no sleep, no time with the family and little pay is about to throw me over the edge. Alls I am asking y'all is you know anyone that is willing to pay decent for good hard work, and is willing to give a Wounded Warrior a chance, would you please let me know. I will leave my cell number below. Like I said I am not asking for any favors or sympathy, I just need some help and a chance. NOW TO THE EVENT just would like to say thanks again to all who is bringing this event together I as a wounded warrior really appreciate it how the air boat community has come together to make this happen as well as all who have donated money, food, banners and so on. Thanks again.

Important notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be NO PARKING at Sawgrass Rec Park. They have buses comming in on Saterdays and intend to use the lower lot.
Because of their heavy traffic with the season comming on, I recomend not trying to use that facility, that includes the restrooms and zoo.
The owners of the buisness have donated generously in the past to the Wounded Warior events but cannot handle this type voluum at the park at this time of the year.
Too many people in confinement = congestion and accidents.
Gass for blood; I suggest we go to the stub landing and smoke it over! There is a large parking lot on the west side of 27, but we would need to supply a shuttle to keep folks from crossing 27 on foot or ask for State Trooper support.
Has any one contacted THEM yet?
Did you call the Feds about parking in area 1 at Lox RD

SGT RON Hill;
I have known for a while that you have over extended you're self.
Over extended for too long = dead end. :alien:
You have taken on too much for one man. :(
You have the rite to a life, a family and time for you're self. :?
I still havent learned that I can't do it all by my self, and neither have you. :banghead:
This event has taken a heavy toll on you.
Lets get through this event then back off or I'm gonna have to put some whuppass on you.
With all respect and admiration. :salute:

6 miles north of sawgrass =8 miles north of I595/Alligator Alley.

Got 142 frogs last nite, was short on gas ,otherwise, I beleive I would have gotten 300. They were just comming up when I went in.

I have spoken to BSO, they can provide a deputy for each of the 2 public ramps. Please contact me if you would like to help sponsor the detail for these locations. The detail will cost approx. $600 , so any help with the cost would be appreciated.
The account will be set up by Mack's Fish Camp and paid for by us.
This will provide 8hrs of uniform detail for each ramp.

I don't have an airboat. But, I have been watching this thread wishing I could think of a way to help.

If you all need someone to volunteer their time that weekend let me know. I don't care if it is working in a parking lot off 27 or Lox Road. Just let me know...

Mike I am getting the paperware, FSCA has donated $200.00 for those items brother. Also I can't believe BSO wants $600.00 for 2 deputies at each ramp, when we did the event in Okeechobee OSD compted the time for the officers to be there. Don't they understand this is a charitable event, not a fundraiser of any type. I think I am going to call them and see what they can do. Don't get me wrong I appreciate them helping but that's alot of money for us to come up with!! Marshall anyway you might be able to talk them down also?
