corn fritter recipe
Wife is looking for a good corn fritter recipe, anybody have one?
8 x 15 alumitech 383 mas from gto 3 blade r 2.3 belt

This one is from my grandma.
Dry Stuff:
3/4 cup FRESH cornmeal
1/2 cup ap flour
2 tsp baking powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp sugar
Wet Stuff:
1 egg
3/4 cup milk or more as needed
Mix dry stuff
Beat wet stuff
Add wet stuff to dry stuff and mix to smooth batter
Add 2 cups of corn kernels fresh is best but frozen and thawed will do
Cooks best in electric skillet at 375 till brown flip over brown other side drain and and eat

No offense intended but Publics and add whole kernal corn, and lock the doors.

I don't know the exact recipe. But, I know my mom made them in a cast iron skillet and it was a 1-4 ratio. You know, 1 out of every 4 made it to the dinner table before being eaten. LOL A wooden spoon to the back of the hand is no deterrent.

Here's a easy one
1 box Jiffy muffin mix
1 cup self rising flour
1 can of cream corn
1 large egg
Mix it up an fry. We add powered sugar to the finished product at my house.
