Water in 3A Going Doooowwwwwnnn

Post by digginfool » Sun Apr 13, 2014 11:05 am

This makes two Saturdays in a row I've ridden in 3A. I can't believe how much it dried up in a week. At this pace, I'll be able to drive my daughter's Accord out there by middle of May. Still lots of good riding left but probably not for long.

Water not high but enough to ride. Near dog leg the rocks will say hello but other than that it was easy riding. Stopped by a half dozen camps. No problems using the docks.

Saw a dd sbc boat sliding around so it can't be too bad.

Camp David had some mud in the trail but it was slick.

Tomorrow should be picture perfect. Just our two boats today for the most part. 3 trucks at 40mile.

Last ride for me for a while!

Was at the AAOF today. Plenty of water south of the Tamiami Trail.
Come out to the BBQ next Saturday the 26th and ride.

There was definitely a bunch of rain that fell this week. Just in the nick of time, too. I'll probably be in 3A tomorrow. 2A was nice today.
