Bravos river newbie

Post by PalmsUp »

No airboat yet, just starting the search. I live on my ranch near Hemstead on the Brazos. I figured a way to get boat in safely and have been on the river many times. Bottoms are mud, sand gravel and lots of very large rocks.
I have only heard a couple of airboats go by, all the land is private so no traffic
Anyone run near that area?
Suggestions for bravos river boat?
Been on a lot of boats and airboats and understand the danger but have always wanted one.

Thoughts?

It did get wet.....still have a a lot of details to adress, but the Dirt Road Sport (complete with training wheels) does need a new home. I learned a lot rebuilding, driving, and maintaining it as my first airboat  .....now I have to learn all over again on my 2nd (no training wheels)

kinda like my 5 year old grandson and his bike :dontknow:

Palmsup, My big sister lives close to the bridge at Hempstead, and Brotherbob and I ran that stretch of river a few years back so I know what it`s like.

My first boat has been a good one to start airboating, so if I can help, or advise, just pm me.

Good Luck, and welcome to the circus :violent1:
