Lightheaded Hatlights Black Friday/ Cyber Monday Special

Post by PeaRiverOpossum » Fri Nov 28, 2014 10:25 am

Good morning everyone. Lightheaded is having a little special this year on our 5000 Lm LED hatlight kits for $98 + $8 shipping . These have been gaining in popularity so we decided to run a special on them for Black Friday/ Cyber Monday. Included is your choice of one welder or Camo hat and one rechargeable lithium battery pack/ Wall charger. The light sources are 2 Cree XML2 LEDs and have a high, medium and low setting. The beam pattern is a combo Spot/Flood. It has a tight spot surrounded by a nice flood pattern (great for frogging or hunting). They are so light weight that you forget you have them on. The included battery pack will power the light for up to 4 hours per charge depending on power setting used. The batteries also come with a retractable cord that measures apx. 2 feet long when retracted and will comfortably stretch up to 8 feet. Cigarette lighter power cords can be purchased separately for $40 if desired. Extra batteries/chargers can also be purchased for $65. As, always we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all lightheaded lights! We have limited quantity of these on hand and we will run the sale until we are out. Please call 334-722-1817 to purchase with a card or make other payment arrangements. We answer the phone from 8a-8p. Please leave a message if no answer and we will call you back ASAP. You can also email us at info@light-headed.net.
Thanks,
Kenny

I have one of your 3800 lmn welders band lights. Will my battery packs work with this light? This new light is brighter than my light now? I'm in.

Yessir the same battery will work for both the 3800& 5000. And this special comes with a battery/charger.
The 5000 is slightly brighter than the 3800. However, the main advantage is that it's SIGNIFICANTLY lighter weight and has LOW, MED, & HIGH settings whereas, the 3800 is HIGH all the time but has SPOT, FLOOD or BOTH.

How do these lights compare to aircraft landing bulbs, Kenny? And do they shine any farther than the 3800 model?

These do NOT shine as far as the AC landing lights. I'm working on some LEDs that I hope will. Like boats, they all have a trade off. Because the 3800 has a SPOT only mode and because it has larger optics, the 3800 shines further than the 5000 but still not as far as the AC. Hope this helps. Let me know if y'all still have questions.

I decided not to put them on the website yet since we have limited quantities and do not have a live inventory system. I don't want people to be able to order them and we not have them in stock. I will be redoing the website very soon and may add them.
Plus, we like the opportunity to talk to our customers and make sure they are getting exactly what they want and not what we want them to have.
From my OP:

I have one of your AC lights on the welder headband and its great! Craftsmanship is great and all the wiring is very clean. But I recently got the 3800 LED for my dad and with that battery back deal, I have to say its hard to beat. I probably use his light more than mine. Easy to see eyes with, and whites do seem to pop a little more. Every one I ride with is slowly converting to the LED. I love not being attached to boat and great for working on the generator at camp or juggling three running chain saws in the dark. lol joking... But will this 5,000 hold a battery longer? Just wondering. The battery all ready has a great running time.

Sorry I missed your post yesterday. We must have posted at the same time. Glad you like the lights! Sounds like your figuring out why LEDs are better for most cases.
To answer your question here's what we've found:
2 hours on high
4 hours medium
6 hours low
These are rough numbers buy should give you an idea. Actual run times may vary slightly.

Kenny, guys and maybe gals of lightheaded lights,

I just received my new light today, ordered it wensday. Great ship out time !!!!

Had to try it out tonight, me and son rode our dirt bike and used it to guide our way. Great little lite hat, it weighs way less than the 3800 I have.

Greta job with this light Kenny and company.

We are down to the last few 5000 Lumen hatlights on welder bands. If you are thinking about one for a Christmas gift for a versatile light with many uses call us today. We will be building more after the holidays, but will not be able to offer this special price. Thanks and Merry Christmas from the team!!!
