im new to airboating and been learning alot from yall i have a 12ft hul with poly and a stock LS 5.3 motor going to run it dd im going to push the boat with a water walker 2 blade prop 70in Signature. how do yall think it will run

Should run OK. Are you keeping the factory ECM or going with a carb? PM ls1airboat on here if you keep the injection - he knows the in's and out's of these engines from learning on his 5.3.

Yeah, it should run some dry. What kind of hull? what thickness is the poly?

not to sure about maker of hull title says homemade i dont think its a homemade hull its 12x7 has 18in sides and has that upside down v on the bottom of each side the poly is 1/4

im in houston i have it all running good waiting to get it back from muffler shop today then going to pitch the prop was just wondering what yall think it can do i never had a airboat b4 so its all new to me

Huge question: Is your LS an aluminum block motor? If it is, it probably won't take the thrust load of a prop.

the block is steel heads are not i talk to water thunder he said if i keep it stock should be fine

No more than 3,000. If you keep the boat light and set it up right, it should be able to do a little bit of dry ground.

It should run dry fairly well if set up right. I have a 12x8 and it will run some dry.
