It's been slow going but finally got it painted. I was a little unsure about the color but once I saw it on the boat I loved it. Got the motor mounted and it's pretty much all down hill from here. Shouldn't be long now. Starting to look like an airboat again.

Never was a fan of blue airboats. You might have found a color that changes my mind. Is that Awl Grip?

Gary to tell you the truth a agree with you. I thought about this color for a long time. And I almost chickened out and just painted it grey again but I'm glad I did it. I was inspired by a couple flats boats I would see running the flats after living in the keys for a couple years. It's actually nason full-thain paint. And I got an extra 2k integrated clear-coat that my buddy put into the last coat. Really makes the metallic in the paint come out.

Got a good bit done today. Actually looks like an airboat now. Just in time to not be able to go out due to high water. Lol

Thanks guys. Ya I'm going with a fiberglass back. Just didn't have it on because I had just mounted the dry box. As you can see, I made it for the old skool seats but changed my mind half way through the build lol

All the little things are what's keeping me up now. Waiting for little stuff that I forgot to paint to dry. Just need to finish wiring, rudders, prop, gas tank and a couple other little things then she's done.
