ULL student needs help for design project

Post by phdugas9 »

My name is Phillip, I'm an Industrial Design Student at ULL.

I'm designing a first responder/search-and-rescue airboat for a senior project. I really need to take a ride in one to get a feel for what it's like. It'd be awesome to have someone show me how they're operated as well, and maybe let me bounce some ideas off them that I'm thinking about implementing into the boat I'm designing.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get help for something like this in Louisiana? Or would anybody be willing to help me out personally? I've tried a couple different boat manufacturers, but they were too busy to get back to me. I've also tried McGee's Landing but they weren't too cooperative or willing to go out of their way to help me. I have a feeling I'll get the same result with other "swamp tour" places.

Thanks so much!!

Get on facebook and search for Judge Ayo. He is in the area and can either help you or get you in contact with the right person.
